Meet Our Staff

Director: Jane Larson
   ·Acts as a Department Head for the City of Vermillion
   ·Plans, organizes, and directs city library services
   ·Hires, supervises, and trains, Library personnel
   ·Implements policies
   ·Recommends new policies and procedures
   ·Provides reference service to any patrons in need

Technical Services Librarian: Wendy Nilson
·Determines/assigns accession and catalog call
numbers for library materials
·Prepares work orders for typist and processor
·Checks catalog cards for accuracy and files them
·Provides reference service

Circulation Supervisor/ ILL: Shelly Koller
·Oversees and performs circulation procedures
·Maintains circulation statistics
·Processes inter-library loan requests
·Maintains inter-library loan records

Billing Clerk/Processor: Misi Kayl
·Prepares materials
·Mends damaged materials
·Oversees and performs all steps
for mailing overdues and bills for
lost or unreturned items

Adult Services: Linda Calleja
   ·Selects and delivers library materials to homebound
     patrons
   ·Maintains appropriate records of such loans
   ·Orders all large print materials
   ·Maintains the large print section of the library

Children's Librarian: Joyce Moore
·Selects books and all other materials for children
·Provides storytimes for children
·Creates displays
·Visits local schools and organizations to promote
the library
·Directs summer reading program
·Coordinates home school reasearch

Weekend Supervisor: Michael Stark
·Performs ILL and circulation procedures
·Supervises library services on weekend
·Substitutes at the circulation desk
·Acts as reference to patrons with any questions

Typist: Bobbi Burgess
·Types cards and labels for all books
·Creates monthly board meeting packets
·Designs monthly newsletter/ calander
·Edits web site
·Works with BookNews service
·Completes book orders online- keeps new
materials coming every month
